TIMELINE
Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2013

Timeline is a piece of verbatim theatre with a twist!

We have collected a vast number of interactions between university students across social media networking sites (with their consent) and collated these to produce a piece of theatre. Timeline follows a group of friends as they deal with love, friendship, exam stress and generally learning to live as adults.

The stories formed capture the reality of human emotion in a humorous, but always honest way: from a girls (very late) first kiss to two boys awkwardly discussing sex everything on stage feels so authentic and relevant because it has been said and lived by real people. Timeline gives you the chance to read the private messages behind the otherwise extremely public domain of social media.

Being so accessible, Timeline is a nostalgic and fun piece of theatre which we believe is perfect for the Fringe.

Timeline has already received accolades, having been shortlisted for the Les Enfants Terrible Award 2013. An abridged version of Timeline was first performed at the Pleasance Theatre in London at the LET Award Showcase in February.
